Those hundred birch dowels make the shadow play on my dining room wall genuinely hypnotic—we leave it on through dinner every night now. The blown-glass bulb peeking through the cage is delicate but somehow sturdy, and the warm pattern it casts changes as you walk past.

The way the light diffracts through the birch cage casts these beautiful, shifting shadow patterns across my entire living room wall. It’s surprisingly delicate but feels well-crafted, and the blown-glass bulb has a lovely warm glow.

I wasn't sure if those 100 birch dowels would feel fragile, but they actually hold the glass bulb firmly—and the shadow patterns it casts on the wall are absolutely stunning.
