I was surprised how warm and cozy the light feels with the opal glass—it really softens the glow in my living room. Even at full brightness, the 806 lumens are plenty for reading without being harsh.

The dimmable feature works perfectly with my living room dimmer switch, and the 806 lumens give off exactly the warm glow I wanted for reading. The opal glass diffuses the light so nicely that there are no harsh shadows anywhere.

I was pleasantly surprised by how evenly the opal glass diffuses the light — no harsh glare at all. The dimmable range is smooth and quiet, which I didn’t expect from an LED globe. It’s bright enough for my living room but cozy when turned down low.
